Funnily enough, same is true of Crowley, Grant and all the occultists who get these guys upset. You read them cos they're mad, not to be taken literally.
I really liked the first 20 or so episodes of his podcast. They seemed pretty solid and well researched though he maybe he did overly rely on single sources. But I didn't get any "this dude is mad' red flags leaping out at me. The occult stuff is just wrong though, it takes the worst claims...
Horsely wrote a terrible book called The Matrix Warrior which is kinda like a self-help/magick book to help you fight your way out teh mattri8x, I shit you not. He is not someone I'd take as a credible source on those kind of accusations.
That Jimmy Falun Gong guys takes on occultism are just really mad. it's weird 'cos i know some of the people he's mentioned at a remove or two and its very much wrong end of the stick.
he's so great. I love how he slips into absolutely slaughtering Greg without even breaking sweat. I read recently that the only true thing in the world is personal abuse. Tom is a master of it.
I find this interview kinda fascinating 'cos he's so guarded and softly spoken. I wonder if it's in part 'cos of damage because of everything he's been through and done, fear of legal consequences, deeply rooted secrecy or something else.
That sounds like it's made for a club system with that weird wobbly bassline bit. I think that'd sound amazing loud. I rarely go to clubs anymore. I'd put it down to getting older but they do seem to have lost their cultural importance somewhat?
