    Wuhan Killer Sneeze (thanks Tea)

Are you in Amsterdam? What are the situation there? I am quite surprise the Dutch has taken such a hard lockdown approach, doesn't seem in line with the normal liberal mentality there. For me every country that has imposed any kind of curfew is in my view a proto-fascist state now.

the 2000s: worst era in recorded music?

Jan Jelinek consistenly popular. That album fetched quite a lot on discogs, until rerelease a few years ago. He's still doing quite fine stuff nowadays. Stuff like Vlad delay, snd also holds up. This is quintessentially click n cuts, too pristine a beauty to be a wallpaper track :

the 2000s: worst era in recorded music?

Idk, I'd defend some of this. the background muzak aspect was a quality in itself.

the 2000s: worst era in recorded music?

I do have some fond memories of cruising around listening to Lawrence in the early 00's.

Idk if this is Ballardian, but I am on a dystopian architecture trip at the moment so I guess this could fit in here: https://www.wired.com/amp-stories/mexico-housing-tracts/

    I LOVE MUSIC LOL

Obviously. Although more with the Swedes. But norwegian are puritan and barbaric simpleton-come-nouveau riches without any taste or sophistication whatsoever. The Saudis of Scandinavia. Terrible, terrible people.

Gas is not techno enough for this thread. There's plenty of other Voigt projects more relevant here.

    DLaurent's Techno Top 100

Huge, huge influence for me. A total curveball of a record. Nobody pushed the limits like ol' Wolfgang then (and now for that matter). When people say techno isn't auteur-driven, I respond with a random Wolfgang track. Edit: Old raves in Germany didn't sound like this, sadly

you are posting all my favorites in such a way that I'll should refrain from doing my own thread. The opposite site of this record is ace as well, some rad psychic drum/bassline programming here:

    The importance of "bad" music/art

    The importance of "bad" music/art

Genuinely bad music is getting so rare I get all excited when I find it. I guess the whole lo-fi/outsider music exploits that feeling.

    The importance of "bad" music/art

Dub techno is a deep pit of mediocrity. It is very hard to find something completely bad, but no one has yet to match Basic Channel. Not even remotely
