Has ketamine ever directly influenced musical styles?

I would have thought the void-like sub/bass of dubstep would work brilliantly with a nice bit of k. The syncopated rhythms might not be quite so easily digested though.... The mixes previously known as devil mixes then? :) ok, heres a game.. name 3 drugs, and 3 movements/styles/tracks which...

    Vinyl Curiosities

I was thinking about starting a post about something similar, but slightly different again, but my friend has a version of the bellyass riddim (i think..) in which during the cutting of the master something had gone terribly wrong with the master tape in the middle of the track (pitches up and...

    Silverdollar on Grime DJs

I think what appeals to me about grime mixing, or dubstep mixing, is how sparse some of the music is.. and when it does link up (if even for a few moments), the patterns interact and bounce off each other as a new beast entirely.. the kick from one record might fill the space where there was...

    what makes a nightclub good?

i agree about airconditioning! what are peoples opinions about 'genre' nights? do you think it enhances or detracts from a club to say have hiphop night, electronica night, indie night ... or would you be more interested in attending one which had say all three in one night? or two of one, with...

Has anyone seen relax magazine from japan? I'd really like to see an english style mag with writers this lovely, in love with nice design for the hell of it, articles about abandoned amusement parks and interviews with guys who invented board games.. and next to no advertizing at all. I would...

    Riddim I like

i think cure was germaican, so maybe we should just say top 10 riddims! great idea though! not all recent but all gold to me hammer (my fave riddim ever.. minimal, driving and with some of the best versions) hot sex (nothing special but the strength of the versions makes this one a winner)...
