Amazing how a £10 pair of Sens earbuds can sound better than a £50 pair of Bose ones which I sold. The foam pads gives me excessive ear wax tho'. I couldn't find a gamelon thread. I've been listened to bits on Youtube and really like the combination of percussion and drone. This is probably the best example of the sort of thing i'm looking for. Could anyone suggest any CD listening/links for more of this. Also I can imagine this sort...

I had a packet of ready mixed polenta like below. Never known quite what to do with it. And made this, more or less . . . I used parmesan/chedder mix instead of the suggested cheese and no parsley. Loved it. Would probably do it with non ready mixed polenta next time tho...

Exactly Nomos, it's ambient/drone with some heavy basslines and percussion. I think I might of lost interest if it was too ambient, had too many eastern vocal samples or too much dub techno. As much as I like Shakleton and Basic Channel). There's a lot of mood and tempo changes to keep it...

That's the first person I thought of when I saw the thread title. She was singing i.e. miming on breakfast TV really struggling to sound like she came from London. I wonder if she talks likes she sings because it sounded all a bit fake. Being from the north may have biased my opinion.

Finally got the Tryptych CD set a few days ago. I didn't expect it to be like this, but it is brilliant. Really looking forward to listening to it all back to back on some headphones soon.
