And the mix by Mr Eden mentioned above is well worth down loadling.
Newsnight tonight, fell sleep asleep with the tv on. Did I hear Jeremy Paxman say were closing with a Jamie XXL (sp) remix of the Newsnight theme music. I might of been lucid dreaming or simple crazy.
^^
Bass is Maternal.
My young one goes mad for basslines. If EQ it to treble he loses all interest so it's all about the B line for him. I'm sure there was a music for children thread. May have to search and revisit it.
I was kind of reminded of this by the student demos where someone had a portable sound system. Indians from Trinidad and Guyana in New York has been slowly building a bicycle sound system street culture which was reported in the New York Times a while back...
I was in Richer Sounds a couple of months ago and they were still selling cassettes. My car only plays cassettes so I'm still with them. Not sure if I could sit down and do a mix tape nowadays they simply take to much time. But listening to some of those old tapes is great I can still remember...
Never really listened to much Lovers. But been caning the King Midas Sound album and Fact mix. And it's gonna be this on rotate. Gwan GA with the fx and John for the selection.
Moog Reggae
Collection of Reggae tracks with Moogs. A couple of killer selections in there.

I mentioned these in the clothes thread. Super comfortable after the initial day of wear. They scuff up quite nicely too,

Was listening to this just the other night. Might be later than what your looking for.
Creation Rebel - Starship Africa
or
Joe Gibbs - African Dub Almighty vols 1 -4
More later but check out some Larry Levan mixes on deephousepages.com deep dub disco styles. One of the first dj's to use the mix desk as an instrument throwing in additional fx into the mix.
How easily I got absorbed in this . . . Last hour has flown by and I need to do some work but I want to reload this page.
