Yea this is a really great album. It seems to play as a more genuine article than Panda Bear's album while obviously being informed by it. I also think he just writes more fleshed out songs with some great melodies. Good stuff

I've never been to any Soul Champion events, even though I've made journeys down to NYC for Dubwar and Trouble + Bass. Mainly because as you say I can never really find anyone interested in the tunes except my best friend, who prefers to play self indulgent sets at his own house parties... Kind...

If anyone could help me with a tune ID I'd greatly appreciate you defogging my mind. In D1s Rinse show the song that drops at 26:55 with the wild flute sample floating around in back. I know I've heard this tune before but can't for the life of me place it.
