For fuck's sake, they've gone ahead and adopted the "bass music" tag as well? I know shit like this shouldn't bother me anymore, but goddammit.

Yeah, I think I'm just partial to newish female rappers that aren't Kreayshawn (ie I have very low standards). Had no idea that came out ages ago though...someone brought this tune called 212 of hers to my attention and I hated the track but liked her, so I looked for something else and that + a...

Sounds more like Martyn pre-Ghost People to me...in fact the beat pattern sounds like it's been straight up lifted from an older Martyn track.

Yeah, that would be the original. Think there are three versions of the track on the EP. The Helix track is big. Actually heard an intrumental version of it first and thought it was good, if not particularly memorable. Works much, much better with the vocal for me.

Neither are Indians, seeing that China is not the home of post dubstep (yet). Well, much like you - First hand experience and conjecture. I obviously don't have any hard statistical data to prove this, the same way I don't have any hard statistical data to prove that the majority of Twilight...

Sorry for butting in, but - A) Because it's an easy way for journalists to fill space. It provides a potentially interesting angle and maybe a couple of soundbites in what would otherwise be another boring interview with another boring artist (because let's face it, electronic producers are...

I agree. That Burial guy? He's the biggest mysoginist of them all. I've heard that listening to his tunes increases domestic abuse against women by 65%.

I just thought it was a bit of an overreaction. A well written and well intentioned one, but an overreaction nonetheless. It's really late here so I'll probably explain myself better tomorrow, but it reminded me of some writer suggesting Andy Stott was being racist/exploitative because the cover...

Well, that was pretty preachy for an article that was extrapolated from a couple of tweets. But it did provide us with some shocking evidence to suggest that some guys on Youtube like tits and the readers of DJ Mag have terrible taste. I really hope the kristanjcaryl quote was supposed to be a...
