True, but counter-revolution is a response to some initiating revolution, and I wonder what examples of initiating revolutions with politically/culturally reactionary agendas we have.

Ultimately I;m with you there, but I don;t think we can rule out some kind of dynamic alignment of anomalies. Any actual seizure of power would require some number of congresspeople to capitulate, no? In order to preserve policymaking ability? And that seems pretty tough to pull off.

I'm switching between CNN, Fox and MSNBC. More or less voicing the same things, but with variations in intensity.

I'm working from the notion that almost any return to tradition is spearheaded by those who are generally against egalitarian values and protocols. But as I said above, I;m not convinced its impossible to sublate the two.

Yeah I would be surprised if the mainstream bar was much higher than this.
