    @baboon iirc, he called it 'sterile domination', and I saw it as more or less a positive thing, as I assume it was in reference to the way Barcelona suffocate their opponent's play by either keeping the ball or with relentless, systematic pressing (Lobanovsky would have loved this team)...

    sorry, I meant the soviet-era buildings in the city I'm currently living in (capital of The Most Failed State You Know Least About) getting knocked down, rather than the monuments / sculptures in the photos in this thread.

    La Gaga

    I actually really enjoy Gaga's singles, but I've never been able to make it through either of her albums. her attempts at ballads grate, in particular. and Gwen Stefani has made some great music, imo.
