Universal Indicator Red picked up for 50p at a record fair goes for about £30 on discogs
The first Gescom E.P. on Skam bought about 5 years ago for a pound and goes for about £20 or more
Jiri.Ceiver - Osiac picked up for £2 goes for about £20 on average

Sure there are a few releases that are digital only but there are also guys like Omar S, Theo Parrish and Moodymann who refuse to play the digital game and only release on vinyl. I guess it's whatever you feel most comfortable mixing on but if I was in your position I'd probably go the decks and...
cd-uk has been cancelled by ITV and replaced with the Saturday Cooks! programme they stole wholesale from BBC1. The latest news on cd-uk is that five will broadcast it in a Saturday evening slot with new presenters and no doubt it will die a death fairly quickly being head to head with the...
...according to the British Market Research Bureau as reported in the Guardian. It suggests there's a lot of hype around blogging. I'm curious about these findings because I do most my reading online these days, so what do all you bloggers think are we a minority in the UK...
There have been several New Order tribute albums actually. Info here and if you include Joy Division covers then Love Will Tear Us Apart alone has had many versions and the overall list is massive. They are undoubtedly extremely influential to many bands that have followed most notably The Cure...
Quite right and might I add Klaus Schulze - Timewind a spaced out classic. Other things that spring to mind are Steve Hillage - Rainbow Dome Musik and more recently and fairly obvious Aphex Twin - Selected Ambient Works 2. I second the Kompakt Pop Ambient releases and some of the artists on...

I agree, I never encountered IDM as a term in any record shops' racks in the UK, it was a very US based term probably thought up after the Warp Records Artificial Intelligence series and which totally missed the point. I hate pigeonholing music anyway and the likes of Aphex Twin and Autechre who...
There's a recent set from RDJ online recorded at an Austrian snowbombing event at the end of last year. Lots of Analord type acid stuff and some grimey electro and 'ardkore, no gabba or drill and bass. It is in realplayer but I'm sure people can rip the stream if they want an MP3 to keep. Get it...
That Kraut top 10 still frustrates me as I wanted to track down most of them after reading it and still haven't managed to. I'm sure that Woebot's influence will render most this list collectable too (and thus harder to obtain) in the not very distant future! ;)
It's a great version, but that link credits the lyrics to Grace Jones when it was written by Chrissie Hynde. Most of that LP is cover versions actually. It's some of Sly and Robbie's best work imo.
