some of those pop smoke ones make me wonder if the fiddliness of drill drums will allow for a lot more dead space in the raps themselves. the drums will provide the underlying propulsion allowing the rappers less imperative to fill up the bar.

Some of the beats are really really good (and I think a lot of them are UK producers).

This one e.g.


He had a brilliant voice, he could make very basic shit sound impressive. And the ad libs were good too - the growl etc.

That PTSD song in particular underlines how 50 influenced he was.
