The nice weather has finally inspired me to do the first garage mix I've done in ages. Crossfader abuse in full effect!

Yeah so this one did indeed turn out to be pretty special, you've clearly got a real knack with mixing garage. So many good tunes - I think it's prob been discussed on here before but the dub mix of All I Do is just a mindblowing piece of music. You seem to be getting skilled with the ol' cross-cutting too.
Like a lot of good garage mixes, this one sounds great when I'm wandering around town with the headphones on. I'm sure if I drove it would sound good in that situation too..
Downloading the House mix you did now. There seems to have been so much downloadable music that's popped up this week, it's a madness! (In the best possible way).

Cheers Andy, glad you enjoyed it. Garage is the most fun music to mix by far I reckon. I'm pleased with this mix though listening back there is a couple of clangs, but fuck it...

Actually went on a mish to a wee record shop in Whitley Bay this morning. Spent 2 hours ratching through huge piles of unsorted records and came back with 20 garage records. El-b, Lavonz, Dem 2, Zed Bias...all sorts for a quid each. So, expect a few more mixes in the near future. :)

Nee bosh...Its called Bay Books. Get off the metro at Monkseaton, turn right out of the station and walk up the road towards town, its on the left. Tiny little shop with absolutely mountains of vinyl packed in. The dude runs a stall at Tynemouth market on Sundays too. There's fuckloads of 12" singles all a quid each but you have to be prepared to do some serious digging. Got a load of other good Rnb, house and old hardcore stuff too, but there's plenty left though. Deffos worth a look anyway.
