Jammer is a big hype man on stage - kinda reminds me of the olden days of UKG MC'ing where the mc was there to compliment the tunes.

Now the tracks are more angry - so are the mc's. Although his content is not as deep as others he still brings a much needed vibe to many events.

Jammers big still. No hating here. I just don't see him as an artist when it comes to lyrics. I personally feel the way fwd for grime mc's is to raise the bar and become more than rave mc's, put out albums etc.
Thats what brings the most international attention to the music, gives it stability and credibility.

he has definetly got lazy. after listening to ARMY again today and some of his stuff now. you can see that hes making tracks that definetly need and mc 2 ride on.

you cannot knock jammer, his work rate is massive. tracks, dvds, performances. its all there..

You can never dispute the BIG part Jammer's played/playing in the scene but if wasn't a big boy producer would he make it as an mc? How can he be a true Rasta as he claims and then spit all the gunman talk and take his rhymes seriously. Definately agree with the thought that mc's need to step up a level in general but I think it's starting to happen-just look at the Rewind forum when someone posts a clip of a new crew-if all they are is badman talk more often than not they will get slewed as 'same old, boring now...'. People like Bruza bring something different and his fairly quick success shows this is what people are appreciating. I think there needs to be a certain balance for Mc's to be the biggest- look at DDouble-he has gunman lyrics but he can follow a verse of
