My first thought was "is it Anglesey?"Bait was a subtle blast. Bit Brexity but the ending was superbly affecting. Enys is the same root as Ynys for island and even though it’s Cornwall the trailer reminds of sections of Anglesey or Ynys Mon staying with grandparents. Places where the tourists avoided, wher the only human contact playing was your own shadow. So many birds. High tide near Parc Cybi or over to Holy Island, liminal “thin” locales where the elements meet. It’s as if the failed arcs of Ben Wheatley and P Strickland are finally facing a real talent
