I don't think his hands are especially small. I've just seen a picture of him sitting next to Boris and his hands are significantly bigger than our Prime Ministers

I've never got the small hands thing. I have small hands too, does that make me ripe for mockery, it seems like it's too close to making fun of people for physical disabilities. Attack him for the many thousands of legit reasons but the small hands thing doesn't feel like a real reason

Me too. Small perfectly formed hands. I feel attacked when they do that. Also most people who join in with it I'm sure have smaller hands than him. It's a weird childish thing where you have to pretend you've got the hands of a bricklayer or basketball player just so people don't laugh at you!

I feel a bit like this when I see those photoshopped pics of Erdogan or Putin with earrings and makeup, as if to say, lol, gay!!! I think the argument is "These guys think being gay is really bad, so we're doing it to annoy them, not because we think being gay is inherently funny." But I can certainly see why a lot of people dislike it, too.

With Trump and the hands thing, I think it's because he's obviously obsessed with masculinity and with appearing masculine and tough, and big hands are a secondary sexual characteristic for men, linked (in the popular imagination, at least) with dick size, and so on.

I assume that his hands are normal size and people say it purely cos it annoys him. It's the law of the playground - never show weakness.

There's nothing so satisfying as to cheat a cheat... maybe there's a similar thing about bullying a bully, although that's definitely more problematic.
