It doubtless meets the ICC criteria!
Perhaps you'd be more inclined to consider it a genocide if the farmers had been on a murderous rampage, following a manifesto to rid the world of black South Africans.
You must realise that what you describe isn't a hypothetical scenario? The state-sanctioned white-on-black murderous rampage actually happened in the preceding decades, right?
Except the white/afrikaans farmers didn't want to get rid of the blacks, did they? They wanted to systematically displace, enslave and exploit them.
But apartheid ended 35 whole years ago - these blacks can't get themselves organised, can they? They're all corrupt? And generational trauma is a fiction, right?
To wit - 35 years on, white/afrikaans people make up about 8% of the economically active population, but control about 70-odd% of the economy. White/afrikaans people have it pretty good. It should probably be uncontroversial to expect white/afrikaans people to support (or at least accept) a more energised wealth redistribution project from their democratically elected government.
The EFF are useful idiots for the ANC. If anything, they have allowed the ANC to go SLOWER on certain things. In the same way that people like Mark Francois were useful idiots for Johnson to justify not actually doing anything. The reliably cartoonish extremist, allowing you to appear moderate and strategic and level-headed. And those 59 fast-tracked farmers have been successfully weaponized to inflame tedious embittered liberal-fascist cranks in the US.
Violence is out of control in SA. But black on black violence MASSIVELY eclipses the black on white violence.
oh and I saw something that said the average black family in SA has about 5% of the wealth of the average white/afrikaans family. In the US it's about 6%! So Elon's all up in Mister President's ear, and the Don's getting tetchy, and in brazen indifference to the complex sociocultural SA contexts he lobs in the G word. As long as we address the problem over there, we can distract from the obvious problem over here. It's all pathetic and probably quite effective domestically, and it's all entirely consistent with the Trump administration's isolationist myopia and grubby, ham-minded, destructively-exothermic statecraft.
Oh and guess who's financing SA infrastructure development - and all the mineral mines - now that ye old white/afrikaans hegemony is starting to disintegrate? Chinaaargh. Bet Elon wants a share of all that cobalt etc
