also worth pointing out that those wu tang albums are about a decade more recent than the chaka kahn songs.

It doesn't necessarily have to be music either. You could probably get something interesting out of The Godfather vs Goodfellas, Alien vs. The Thing, Rocky vs. Raging Bull, The Thin Red Line vs. Saving Private Ryan etc. Maybe we should just have an oppositions thread with loads of them.
