In 2018, just a stone’s throw from the Legendary Lloyd Bullwackie’s studio, Bronx, New York City sees Time Cow, SO$A, Gavsborg & B Dot in the basement of an abandoned building. it's its own thing, which is why I'm posting stuff in this thread rather than the 'new dancehall' thread - although there's a case to be made that the @Benny B posts are more avant garde than the ones in this thread

I s'pose geography plays a part (despite the internet) as Duppy Gun's all white guys from the US, iirc, and I think Seekersinternational's Canadian. Is any of the stuff posted in here even made by people from Jamaica, aside from Equiknoxx?

it's an international thing - Equiknoxx are Jamaican but use vocalists from all over the world, whereas Duppy Gun riddims are built by international producers but voiced by obscure vocalists from Jamaica..

What does the "Outernational" thing mean? Remember Honest Jons having a section on their site years ago and Seekers use the term too.
