Interestingly, Xavi and Iniesta were both nimble. They were small, agile midfielders, but Xavi, the older of the two, controlled the tempo of the game whilst Iniesta was more dynamic.

all the team stuff complicates it doesnt it. you move away from the two and into the multiple/ but same principles.

Ernie's appearance and clothing contrast with Bert, as he is the shorter and more round of the pair, and he wears a shirt with horizontal stripes, whereas Bert's shirt has vertical stripes, and Bert has a tall, narrow head while Ernie's is wider than it is high.

Yeah, exactly. You can see the patterns emerge as you watch more of them: Iniesta was a vertical player, lots of dribbling toward goal, always looking to advance, whereas Xavi sat deeper and would pull the game from side to side, constantly moving in tight circles to shake off an opponent before releasing the ball.
