not a good writer at all but this is a fun topic. (maybe it'll give you an example for your point about psychedelic aesthetics, corpsey)
1.
really just the video. you're floating in a vast, groundless space that could be in the sky or ocean. lights and shapes flicker around at the periphery of your vision and occasionally seem to speak to you. you feel a deep sense of "wrongness" in the air, as if you shouldn't be here. but there's also a ceremonial quality, as if everything here was waiting for you for a very long time.
2.
whatever forces had gathered have dispersed. you feel lighter (in the sense of being more playful) and able to move quickly and intentionally through the air. you're now fully in the midst of bright clouds, unable to see very far ahead. you encounter airships and floating buildings that might be engaged in some kind of war, mostly obscured from vision.
3.
now it's dark, I guess. you're not sure what things are moving around you--some even sound like people, with varying degrees of corporeality--but none seem limited by our intuitive or learned understanding of physics. one moment they're moving rapidly toward you from miles away, then suddenly they're right beside you (almost like that
scene in the holy grail.) it's a transmission from another planet; some highly advanced civilization staging a play for you from light years away.
4.
traces of the free, often abrupt aerial maneuvers of the last one. but slower and heavier, hitting with the force of concrete. at the same time, joyful.
5.
you're back home. everything feels normal, except that, in a surreally idyllic turn, the landscape you're standing in extends almost perfectly flat and featureless in all directions.
