The masks thing is tricky, because on the one hand I hate it when people just blindly follow rules for the sake of following rules, but on the other hand, some rules exist for a very good reason. The difficulty arises when trying to assess whether there is a good reason, at this late stage in the pandemic, to enforce mask-wearing on a whole country, rather than in areas where flare-ups are occurring.
But since even the experts don't all agree on this, I think it's probably best to work on the precautionary principle, in that it's not really that big an imposition.
On an emotional level, I'm more inclined to abide by mask rules since the anti-mask movement is being spearheaded by - let's be totally honest, now - thick, fat, ignorant, racist, gun-toting, red-faced, redneck cunts. Luka is always banging on about picking your side and sticking with it for better or worse. Well, whatever side that is, it's the side I don't want to be on.
