Well getting it down to a level where the death toll isn't routinely topping 1,000 a day would be quite good, I think. Perhaps you disagree?
But how you go from that to "we need a lockdown until the end of time" is beyond me. We wouldn't even be in lockdown if the government hadn't fucked up the response in every conceivable way.

Long line, cold as fuck, but the seat was wiped down in front of me, gloves changed, very very thorough hygienically and the building was as well ventilated short of taking the roof off. Staff I spoke to nearly all had their 2 jabs done each, just have to wait now and see what the population response is with new strain variables
Back to face to face appointments in April, can’t fucking wait

Despite being pretty far along in their vaccinations, the prognosis in Israel is not looking ideal at the moment, though, so I'm mentally steeling myself for the failure of the vaccination measure.

Our recent wave was mirrored in Sweden and many other places, so looks like a natural decline.
Recording of Covid will probably become stricter to help the vaccine look a success but if it isn't, the truth will out and we'll see another wave next winter, I guess...unless the corrupt elites allow us to use Ivermectin or similar.
