I liked the phrase ‘producing fruitful misinterpretations’ in that group chat on mark fisher. Some of the kpunk blogs and others around it at that time had the feeling of walking into an important conversation between smart people in full flow. There’s assumed knowledge to set you off after certain references but not too much, the right balance of populist and esoteric, you get the feeling of being invited in on something,or maybe trespassing a bit. Also not covering its back and tracks too much, reaching a bit, productive, potentialising, forward momentum writing that encourages further curiosity

Another point for the would-be avant-garde and incel overlap, no? A culture that has managed to stitch into its dogma involuntary celibacy? Man, hopefully we'll live long enough for some future anthropologists to have a field day with the incel.

Full disclosure, as much as I can relate to them (minus any penchant for misogyny or terrorism), they still greatly frighten me - perhaps because of the portion of my potential-tree that leads me, or would have led me, down those roads. Related to my fear/reluctance of memes.

I can't say I have a troubled mind, as the end of the day. At least not at all compared to how troubled minds can get.

How can you "retain the semen" for long enough to establish a forceful enough current, without managing to damage the channels that house/guide it? Forceful enough for what? To express the cosmic?

When aren't you an interesting writer? What does it feel like, how can you tell, when everything's coming out pat, falling flat, chasing its own tail, puffing itself up, tying itself in knots? Do you always know at the time, or is it sometimes only visible in retrospect?
