what we need to see from you is a bit of effort now. we want to see you push yourself. take some risks.

no more cutsey doodles. we want to see an escalation. a step-up. the sinews straining. the vein in the temple throbbing.

well i did do a painting the other day which came out well but ive not posted it yet

i cant do all that veins and sinews thing unfort. i've had a go with it but theyre a bit lifeless to me

scanned some old scribbles i made during office meetings. somehow, of all the things i make, i am most happy with these as i feel they are the most free and organic expressions of my body and mind. i am not thinking, it's just my hand moving over the paper.

Lets get this going again. Hes three different sketches combined, i did them whilst in a zoom meeting, copying previous pictures and bringing them together

Inspired by the wonderful photographer deanna hawkins, she gets away with the nudity cos the subjects are empowered by looking straight to camera

Started working from home just before the lockdown in March and was on a boring Teams meeting. Had my video off and the boss was yapping away, and I was reading rolling news updates on the coronavirus and the enormity of it all hit me. Here's my 'notes' from that Teams session:
