Well there's a big difference between the models who are used to advertise clothes, perfume, cosmetics and whatnot to the general public, who are typically extremely attractive*, and catwalk models, who are usually quite 'plain' (not in the sense of being ugly but in the sense of not having particularly distinguished features, because their job is to wear the clothes, not draw attention away from them).

*I mean I'm sorry but if you're saying you don't think Naomi Campbell is hot then I just don't believe you

Ahh well there is that. But I doubt most women have had stuff done, even if the %age of women who have is higher than in other countries.
