The pandemic year has been hard for many, with all the sickness, death, layoffs, confinement, and isolation. But for a socially anxious and solitude-loving crew, it has been a sort of strange blessing.
also the warning and info posters that are everywhere, esp on public transport, but also anywhere that passive aggressive mentality is exercised (ie every corner of the UK) - some are beginning to look dog-eared and shabby like a badly imagined post-apocalypse sci-fi movie setAre there any "Covid artists" in the same way that there were war artists?
I was in the vaccine centre (large evangelical church building) and I wanted to get my pad out and start drawing.
Just the looks, the furniture, the littled chats, everything. Needs documenting.
seems like those notices are generally sacrosanct from satirical graffito though - noone dares to comment about the alarming lack of eyebrows on the wear a mask icon on the tubealso the warning and info posters that are everywhere, esp on public transport, but also anywhere that passive aggressive mentality is exercised (ie every corner of the UK) - some are beginning to look dog-eared and shabby like a badly imagined post-apocalypse sci-fi movie set
something else i've been wondering about is this issue of why younger people are getting bad side effects off the vaccine, whereas older people generally seem to have none.
the conclusion i've come to in my own head, without reading any proper literature on the topic is as follows:
the younger people have stronger immune systems.
so their white blood cells come out in force to attack the virus intrusion.
which allows the virus to take hold a bit and then battle commences.
which expresses as all the bad side effects.
in contrast, older people have less of an immune system.
so the intrusion of the virus is not combatted by the body.
the virus is in such a small amount that it soon dissipates and dies, as it has no fight to have.
but maybe i'm not right there at all.
i have it in mind to start drawing all these signs. THere's an ominous one on motorways rn - "MINIMISE TRAVEL" - as you are travelling...also the warning and info posters that are everywhere, esp on public transport, but also anywhere that passive aggressive mentality is exercised (ie every corner of the UK) - some are beginning to look dog-eared and shabby like a badly imagined post-apocalypse sci-fi movie set
And so it is ... we have lived through / still a bit in that badly imagined apoc -post apocalypse movie.also the warning and info posters that are everywhere, esp on public transport, but also anywhere that passive aggressive mentality is exercised (ie every corner of the UK) - some are beginning to look dog-eared and shabby like a badly imagined post-apocalypse sci-fi movie set

i'd like to know the rationales for those colour choices.
that's prety simple, afaik intense black/yellow naturally makes you alert, ie. wasps, bees, poisonous frogs, so onthe colour palette is something worth considering. on the roads, we see orange on black eg
