Funny to think of people singing on their balconies together, hosting distanced neighbourhood street parties etc. Only so long you can keep up that sort of charade isn't there, even if you're Italian

i actually just did this and it's looking pretty cool i think. only thing is i have literally no idea how it's looking from the back, i kinda did it intuitive.

It actually looks exactly like me too!

I'm feeling quite chipper today. I've had four phone calls! In one day! And my oldest friend called me yesterday for the first time in about six months. It feels like I'm slowly fading back into reality, becoming more solid and tangible.

Last night I saw a lot of new-ish adverts because I was watching 3 back to the futures on a service which is sort of like watching films on VHS taped off the telly by your dad. They seemed ultra sentimental and family oriented. They made me feel very distressed. Massively manipulative. There was one (for gravy or something, I can't remember) about a dead dad. With old footage of dead dad cutting the turkey. It was fucked up.

Surely if you have a smartphone and a laptop you could get creative with Zoom or similar and solve this problem?

I know someone who was away for about five months over the summer/fall, returned to their apartment right before Xmas and it had been invaded by rats. they thought they'd been robbed, cabinets were open and any food packages chewed through, stuff all over the floor.

There are screeching rats in the ceiling above where I work. I don't know how to shift them. They were very active today.
