Which can be seen in both a psychosexual way and in a religious way (forgive me father for I have sinned).

I don't think it is a new religion but I do think that a great deal of our thoughts actions beliefs have a religious component or can be seen in a religious way just S our actions have a sexual component or can be seen in a sexual way.

Not reeeaally - whataboutism/whataboutery is when you can't let anyone mention the Russian-backed civil war in Syria without saying "But what about the Western-backed civil war in Yemen?" or vice-versa.

John's leapt in with an "anti-fascism is the real fascism!" cartoon, even though no-one here is saying that.

this has become the official thread to indulge our inner Jeremy Clarksons and Peter Hitchens and jeer at the hysteria and priggishness of the left. It's a thread we need and Sufi has given it to us in recognition of that need.

I thought he was saying why you talk about the hysteria of the left when Trumps goons are dressed in camo and kidnapping protestors in Portland?

Fair. I suppose the impulses that lead to religion haven't gone away just because most of Europe is now more or less secular. (Bit more complicated in America, where a far bigger %age of people are still practising Christians, although I expect most progressive whites who are going to be receptive to anti-racism are probably not religious.)

I like to think it goes without saying that the latter is an immeasurably worse problem. And yes, I see what you mean about it being whataboutery.

The whole world needs to link up together with each other for out der we have a common enemy who have all the money and power and most of all a agenda for us all so stop fighting each other and better plan to stop there agenda against us and most importantly are children I no these comments should be about the bars which I like but need to raise awareness of my concerns because my concern is creeping up on all of us, same concerns same problems same enemy same war, link together like adults or die, We tink we control but no we are controlled, GODBLESS to all modern day poets and bless🍀💯🙏

It’s just making the point that there is a class dimension to cancel culture.

JK Rowling will probably be ok. People picked up by the cops in unmarked Portland maybe less so.
