Take away was, apart from the shuffle here, all the other elements heard were enfolded into releases by masses of later Detroit bods. Dunno if I agree, minimalism with chords maybe, the synth softened down more chromatically but damn, it still bumps. It’s all in the bottom end and the shuffle for my ears. It wouldn’t be my own top BB’s - there’s Nu Groove itself where the quality control is still something to behold and I could spam away - so you have to start somewhere and, rather than add a best of Nu Groove mix, best to keep em boiled down
