good shit woops - that last ones a corker. and the yummy fur - i've hear dof that band. i like chester brown but have never listened to em! star and garter is perenially under threat of closure, probably gone now. i did my first zine fair there

the yummy fur were the best out of that late-90s lo-fi lot. my favourite anyway.



the man from franz ferdinand was a member for a while and later slagged them off in interviews!

as for the star and garter, i'd be very surprised if it is still running now! (and the yummy fur didn't show up to that gig)
