Never going back to the office

I can’t find it now, but there was huge support for going back to the office amongst retired people in one survey. Not for them, of course.

It's funny to see the Tories catering exclusively to the older generations backfire like this.


Although Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said at the start of the year that he wanted to use the welfare system better to get people back to work, around 90% of people aged 55 to 59 who have retired early or are out of work do not depend on state benefits, according to an Office for National Statistics survey.

You can't blame them. If you can afford not to work then why would you?

i'm going less and less even though i like to be out on my bicycle in the morning and potentially see some of my colleagues, it's just that if you stay home you can be a complete slacker doing close to nothing so you have time to keep your flat tidy, cook, drink coffee's on the balcony or just go outside and read books.
