the first bit is true i think yes. the german language is overcomplicated in an unnecessary way, i think it's much more easier to make things sound rhythmic in english. as for the last bit, i'm not sure, it's not how i experience the city, maybe the tik tok teens think it's cool to speak english? the rest of the population doesn't though, they hardly can.
