yeah its really good. i thought it would be economically fucked since the last time i was there (kent/sussex coast) but its actually doing better than ever. thriving even. hastings in particular was interesting to me becasue its a town whose economy revolves around middle-aged-geriatric pissheads.

both good places. my dad used to take me to dungeness as a child. i went through them on the way to hastings.

Dover to hastings is quite a massive walk isn't it, like 30, 40 miles at least along the coast?
