MOSCOW (Reuters) - Belarusian, Russian and Serbian military forces will take part in joint military exercises in Belarus, the RIA news agency cited Belarus’ defence ministry as saying on Tuesday.

It said the Russian and Serbian forces would arrive in Belarus from Sept. 10 to 15, without elaborating.

In what was described by some EU leaders as a hijacking, a Soviet-era MiG-29 fighter jet escorted the Ryanair-operated passenger plane flying from Athens to Lithuania. The plane was suddenly diverted to Minsk, the capital of Belarus, where authorities detained journalist Roman Protasevich.

That and the Israeli arms deal (I know it's passed but I believe progressive Democrats are attempting to suspend it) are probably the first two really big FP tests for the Biden administration.

He's also said he was going to end US support for the Saudis in Yemen, but I don't think anything has come of that yet.
