that's a question i've tried to answer before more than once and it's not easy. i mean, there is an easy answer, and that is, cos there is a god. but how do we know it is a god? how do we recognise it etc.

But also it's educational innit. In a very direct sense. Other trips, they can be educational but you need to work at it. Sort through the wreckage and salvage what you can. With dmt there's this *thing* and it's directly trying to teach you stuff. What's that about? Why does it care and what does it know?

Don't want to detail the entire thread with dmt chat obvs but why is it so common that dmt entities have circus skills? Like lots of people talk about seeing jesters. It's the only bad thing about DMT, this obsession it has with street theatre

Back on topic I grew up in a militantly atheist household where even entertaining questions about whether God exists was seen as weak minded and ridiculous. So I've kind of rebelled the other way. Militant atheist upbringings are dogmatic in ways that I see as a failure of the imagination
