Robocop is an extremely moving film that has made me cry.
The bit where they shoot all his arms and legs off is absolutely appalling. One of the most upsetting things I've ever seen in a film. A human having their limbs pulled off like a spider being mauled by a child.

One of the reasons I wanted to watch it is that Trump is a Verhoeven character. American Carnage is a Verhoeven film from the '80s.

Some pre-CGI action/superhero films are great in their primitiveness. I'm sure the later sequels don't have half the charm.

Yeah seeing the stop motion Ed 209 was great. 1987 and using the same effects as they were 30 years before that

These are the best bits easily. It's not really a film per se, just a montage of funny bits for kids to talk about in school. It really dragged. Felt like it was about three hours long.
