i had a read and i thought this was very interesting.@Matthew you might be interested in Bolo Bolo? It's a sort've utopian vision of a more ecological society. Quite fun.
It includes a lot of stuff on rewilding the city, coupled with the ability to travel for adventure to different "bolos" some of which would be more isolated than others.

Yeah I think the detail is what makes it fun, glad you found it useful.i had a read and i thought this was very interesting.
the detail of his vision of how these should be organised gets quite close to being like building a dungeons and dragons world.
good video. i like how he calls the meadow his church, and he likes to build round and in the ground.
It's interesting how he keeps up with the papers and radio, despite camping out away from the main world 50-some years. They're just dispatches from a world he probably only vaguely rememberscertainly one of my fantasies!
this great documentary on a chap living in patagonia
I'M TRAD, DAD!not keen on this though. not my poison. a bit twee and somehow jane austen-ish.
good film, i ended up watching all 4 parts. decent sheep slaughter session. and i liked the fenc eit took him 4 years to build. interesting what he says about how you need animals to survive. patagonia is such a weird place, sort of brutal as well as beautiful.certainly one of my fantasies!

This guy is too ridiculous though, it puts you off even trying.here's a really remarkable advoko makes. this guy max is really an amazing nutcase. he did all this in ONE YEAR!!!
With them or with society though eh?there's something weird about all these people, it's a rejection ultimately, of 'normality'. something has gone wrong somewhere.
