Many years ago I ended up at an afters somewhere mysterious in North London (we had been on Kingsland strip and headed north outside of that, unsure).

Anyway the kitchen dj lashed gabber or hardstyle on and it worked briefly. Sadly this was the same night I had too much ket- I am not really a chemicals man- and ended up leaning on the wall outside the house hunched over hoping to be sick. Sadly I wasn't wearing a belt or I had lost it somehow and my pants ended up round my ankles in a k hole at 6am on a winter morn

Oh well that's life

what interests me about speedcore is how the internet truly made it its own thing in distinction to gabber. There was of course speedcore in the 90s but it was still premised on the hardcore techno/gabber club.
