My football team in the Turkish süper lig (beşiktaş jk) has a basket ball team and its one of the big players in Turkish basketball.

But of course noone cares about them. All the rioting and hooliganism is in the inönü (football) stadium, and Beşiktaş might finally win the league this year, first time since 2007.

Basket ball will never replace the beautiful game. Impossible.
