paul simon and joni mitchell and van morrisson are all people with only one album. its vital you never listen to anything but that one album.

In a Tom Waits book I read he was talking about how the majority of his thing came from when he was washing dishes in a diner down near the docks and overhearing the conversations between sailors. Dylan is the same kind of magpie, just different source material.
