That's a good photo of a monster munch. During lockdown 1, I got into the design of space raiders. Here's a couple pages from my notebook

It's not a monster munch, it's a croco one out of that packet, but I include them with MM and Space Raiders - exalted company indeed.

Lot of pubs in the north used to do their own gigantic pork scratchings. 95% gone today. A pint and a plate of salty heaven. Feels the arteries shudder in decrepit, fag-blasted hovels and sagging concrete gardens of yesterday

Don't really do alcohol or pubs any more (even pre-Covid), but i'd smash a plate of those 'things'. Americans do them yet put strange flavours on them. Talk about sacrilegious and perverted. Look what they've done to the humble pretzel and the croissandwich

They got their own supersaturated pork scratching substitute here... even I feel sick after eating half a pack.

i really like them, there's a posh one which is foil wrapping and there's a few not posh ones where it's a transparent pack and there's always a few wet ones and even a few stray hairs. Yum!

I enjoy sweets but savory snacks are my weakness. I eat handfuls of salted peanuts or pretzels almost every day, totally capable of polishing off a large bag of chips/crisps.
