Twitter was like the wild west 2014/2015, it would be good to revisit that, but the moment has gone really

please the real "wild west" of twitter was even further back than that 2014/2015 was the year when the Furgeson protests started and gamergate combusted and people realised that the very things that they thought made twitter so empowering and unifying left them utterly exposed to the worst people and it was the first time alot of literary critics and journalist types met those people.

if anything those 2 years were more the turning point when alot of people (mostly white) had to look at and engage with real world politics in a way they never had until that point.
