I always kick myself for selling that record years ago. bought it when it came out and loved it, but back then you (well, I) didn't realize this stuff would come rare, so I'd periodically cycle through records from time to time, bring a bag full to trade in or sell at St. Mark's Sounds, Kim's, etc.

The track had a fair amount of buzz by the time i could do the NY NoIse 3 collection w Soul Jazz. Had previously only heard a couple times, each time making for an 'Oh' or 'Aha' instant.
Donny has a good long downtown history, we used to live down the block from his old place by Warren St.

Helped tear up some tracks on the one release i was hired to work - then we used spare time to jam together another 4 pieces / 30m of improvised jams on 4 cassette decks. It got a little crazed.
