Anti - Asian Hate Crime bill advances ...

As usual and sadly, it takes some horrid case(s) to make people move.
This follows the stomp down uptown by the guy who had killed his mother 10 years previous and other cases around the country.
Trump set it off by calling COVID 19 the ' Kung Fu ' virus, thereby inciting
certain types to take it upon them bad bad ass selves to stomp a citizen in broad daylight, on a sidewalk.
So then any and every Chinese, Japanese, S Korean, Vietnamese is walking on eggshells.
Please do not post video of those attacks.
It just makes people copycat.

Why i post this is to illustrate that this admin is not ' Obama V 2 ( or 3 ',
Kamala Harris's hands are guiding policy.
And so we get a bill sponsored by Mazie Horono ( yes ! ) and Grace Meng
, now w Erika Moritsugu in too.
What other admin would have so many women in ?
None ... that that's a potentially large improvement in brain power and reasoning.

And then there are the Repugs ...

I had the - rough - pleasure of meeting Sheila Jackson Lee when our ' Artist's Rights group C3 went down to DC and met Congress.
She could and would whip one's ass - any color you like - in a minute.
Her voice tone alone is a superpower.
And she in ... Texas !
Curious how many death threats , ' why are you my neighborhood ' type comments she has gotten in her time ...

Since last mentioned by IdleRich i believe it was, DC statehood has been brought forward,
the Census came out - probably not the most accurate - resulting in some more rep for some Southern States, Russia says and maybe is moving some arms off the Ukraine border, China's Xi agreed to talk climate and last night Biden / Harris
laid out some ideas, plans for the next 8.
Women power ... be they white, black, hispanic, a few Asian and one American Indian.
And a good, long way from uh Sarah Palin.
