ok, so maybe not in on the origin of rave, but certainly there are people here who partook in later golden eras. acid house?

another way this stuff resembles UK garage is that it is so badly preserved - you'll get compilations with the big hits on them, but anything beyond that needs a trip to Discogs/Ebay and even when it's cheap it's not easy to find

i am 42 years old. the second summer of love was 1998. i was 9.

that means i was 19 when the killer priest album came out. but i've only just discvoered it now. has anyone heard this guy / remember it coming out

posting latin rascals edits of this stuff feels like cheating but w/e. you have this awesome synth(?) effect that sounds like a fireball being hurled around, and that's not even the best part! why couldn't all pop music sound like this
