Jo Boyer - Isabelle And The Rain

smoooooove.. cheesy as fuck arp action

if you want to make your eyes water then check out the asking price for an original copy of this.....not worth it tbh for about 2 seconds of a nice drum & conga break

only came across this because I heard some Edwin Starr drifting across from Manchester Pride festival and was checking out some 12 inches on discogs...

I came across this one when looking for something else, but..

Galaxy II Orchestra - Acid Rain ( 1986 )

It's always refreshing to see that it isn't just reggae singers / DJs who repurpose nursery rhymes

"rain rain go away"

edit: I've realised that I haven't provided any reason to listen to this, but let's just say "undercover electro gem"

lockin', poppin' - break! freeze!

Fast Eddie - Smooth Thunder

I'm sure thunder is "tangentially" related to rain

and I'm sure @thirdform is on my side hoping for the "hip-house" revival which will never come...

edit: not serious really, but I paid 99p for a Fast Eddie LP and I'd like to see the price appreciate

Schoolly D _THIS IS IT ( ain't Gonna Rain )

NO MORE

if I was WILLIAM KENT I would recount a recent, like yesterday, phone call I had with the LOVE OF MY LIFE where she survived the recent TYPHOON in TAIWAN, a FORCE 4 HURRICANE ( did not make UK news due to insular preoccupation )
