However, this is an amazing cinematic & existential moment:
What does it take to change the essence of a man?
and Inland Empire evokes ketamine so profoundly that it blows my mind that Lynch doesn't do drugs.but Lynch / Frost, Twin Peaks: The Return is a masterpiece - some of the Black Lodge sequences made me exclaim "someone has smoked DMT!"
Ep 8 is overrated but the best episodes come after that and the intensity builds and everything comes together at the end. Its a masterpiece and even makes the original series better retrospectively. Best tv series ever.I never dug twin peaks the return, got bored with it way before the feted 8th episode, although I did fast forward and watch it alone.
I never saw anything in it that I've not seen him do elsewhere a lot better and it just seemed very indulgent to me.
But then I've never done dmt...
alright that does it! breaking this out againmvunet has shitted on his legacy by sayins a guy called gerald is a better jungle producer than hype
"worth watching"but the series as a whole is worth watching. i can understand why catalog didnt like it cos you do need an attention span longer than an 8 year olds to get through it
Everyone is talking about episode 8, I presume that was the one with the guy going "This is the water and this is the well" or whatever it was?8 is really bad. 8 is everything that is worst about lynch. its why craner says lynch is the stupidest crassest director of all time and should be mutilated.
8 is what is called 'Guinness Surrealism' which is a genre popularised by a run of Guiness adverts
