I worked a night shift for a few years at this hotel apartment complex. Those hours from 2 to 6 were something special, just doing nothing while the world slept. Would walk through these large empty conference halls laid dark but the faint glow of moonlight spreading across these marbled tiles, completely silent except by my footsteps through the corridors.

Those hours seemed "written off" in a way.
