A fair percentage of Dissensians seem to go for various forms of facial hair, from Corpsey's porn mustache, Shiels and Tea with the stubble/ goatee, Gus' Trotsky beard, and Luka with the full-on seafaring captain look.

I only started growing my beard last autumn. Wish I'd done it years ago, I think it looks great.
