"Throwing shade" at southern Baptist evangelical Christianity that has a long history of supporting and including prominent racists, misogynists and homophobes and will use the bible to support any and all reprehensible positions is not "throwing shade at Christianity" any more than someone saying they don't like Burger King is throwing shade at burgers.

You've moved the goalposts from evangelical Christianity to southern Baptist evangelical, while my point was about the left's attitude to Christianity in general i.e. they don't like it.
